Will Hillary Run?

Will Hillary Step Up To Challenge Obama?

Speculation runs rampant that Obama resign shortly….say by January? If his numbers continue to slide and they will as the economy is hitting everyone in the United States with cross punches that really, really hurt, the Dems will start to put pressure on him to do so.

They don’t want to lose congress after holding it for the last 5 years. They love that power!  In the house, Nancy wants once again to hold that speaker’s seat and will refurbish the jet she once had as a perk and Harry loves telling other senators what to do and when to do it.

But really, have you ever wondered who takes the place of Obama if his numbers and support continue to decline? According to recent polling, 89% of the country thinks it is headed in the wrong direction.

Consider that his campaign is in full swing while he uses taxpayer resources to continue to run around the country making speeches and watches as Rome burns. He observes from the sidelines as Americans suffer from his disinterest in improving the economy. As a result, Obama’s numbers continue to slide and there is only one person who has the moxy, ground game, money, and popularity to run against him or to step up if he resigns – Hillary Clinton.

None in congress will have time to get a campaign together or are well enough liked to campaign for the White House gold ring – and those who have the money to run a campaign are generally unknown. So who is left?

In the last election Americans voted against Bush rather than for Obama and this election will be of the same nature – voting against the incumbent, not for a Republican. So what is to lose if Hillary runs? She enjoys a 62% popularity rating in the polls and has her hubby behind her who is also liked. IF she isn’t elected, what does she lose? She slides into retirement savoring the fact that she actually “beat” Obama at his own game.
But can she win? She is as much a pathological liar as he is and that was clearly proven with her outrageous story of being shot at by Bosnian snipers as she deplaned in that country – while little girls were standing on the tarmac with flowers to greet her! Conservative talk show media will raise the travelgate scandal as she was heavily involved in it and cite her record as secretary of state which is almost non-existent – Palestine still fights with Isreal and Libya is controlled by rebels we support and yet know nothing about.

She doesn’t have negotiation skills nor a government who stands strong as to what is believed so would she make a good president? Many liberal Democrats think so.

Consider the following:
Her husband, Bill has written a new book about putting America to work – that comes out in November. The success of that will accrue to her. She will parrot his ideas – good or bad.
He wants her to be president so he can once again be president. You can bet that he will be her “senior advisor” and take center stage in the White house. Back when, he said that she was “One of the brightest people of her generation.” Oh yeah baby! She stood behind her man when he philandered so now its tit for tat in their household.

He has recently come out and criticized Obama’s jobs and tax proposals as “confusing.” A first grader would call it “Poo Poo” which is a better description. His old advisor and consultant, James Carville is also out stumping about Obama’s failure and his chances of winning. Carville doesn’t do this unless the Clintons tell him to do so. It doesn’t do Bill any good for himself as he can’t run again, but it does wonders for Hillary and her chances to be the Democratic nominee come January or February.

Hillary has spent time this past three years getting some “bona fides” that will stand up as a claim to her competency – she is Secretary of State. As state Senator from NY and a former first lady, she had enough in liberal minds to be named as Secretary and with her current position, those same liberal voters will blindly push the button next to her name.

Obama is battling for his political life and if the economy does not turn around, he will not win in November – Americans will punish him for not having the sense to do what is needed.

They already see the results of his fecklessness, his inexperience, and his ego. So who is waiting in the wings? Hillary!

Obama’s Hypocrisy Knows No Bounds

I resent Obama’s view that race is a key component in the rising opposition to his presidency from conservatives.  I am a Tea Party conservative and don’t appreciate any insinuation that I am a racist.  I do not like Obama’s anti-American, Marxist policies.  I love Allen West and Herman Cain, two black Conservatives.  How would Obama reconcile that, I wonder?  What about the fact that Obama is 1/2 white?  If I’m black and don’t like his policies, am I then racist against his white 1/2?  I’m confused.

In calling anyone racist or being hung up with race, perhaps Obama should start by taking a look in the mirror.  And perhaps he should start telling the truth, that although slavery is a shameful atrocity that never should have taken place, the REPUBLICAN PARTY was started for the purpose of ENDING SLAVERY.   Abraham Lincoln was a Republican.  So was Martin Luther King, Jr.  Slavery existed in America before the colonists revolted against the British and declared their Independence.  Rather than blame the United States of America for the sins of slavery, should we not instead be applauding them, for stopping it?  Let us give credit where credit is due and THANK the REPUBLICAN Party and CONSERVATIVES for putting an end to Slavery.

Why is it that Obama gets away with saying things like “I don’t think it does anybody any good when public employees are denigrated or vilified“, while he himself vilifies those that don’t agree with his policies (e.g. Tea Partiers waving their tea bags around, Republicans are the  the enemyRepublicans, they gotta sit in the back of the bus)?  It appears Obama’s hypocrisy knows no bounds.

Below is an excerpt from the article I was referring to, where Obama says race is a key component in Tea Party protests.  Click HERE to read entire article.

“But Obama, in his most candid moments, acknowledged that race was still a problem. In May 2010, he told guests at a private White House dinner that race was probably a key component in the rising opposition to his presidency from conservatives, especially right-wing activists in the anti-incumbent “Tea Party” movement that was then surging across the country. Many middle-class and working-class whites felt aggrieved and resentful that the federal government was helping other groups, including bankers, automakers, irresponsible people who had defaulted on their mortgages, and the poor, but wasn’t helping them nearly enough, he said.”

We are engaged in a war, a war of ideas

by Tom Tancredo

This drumbeat that began right after the event in Arizona, and really before that, the media focused on this idea of partisanship, that we need to be more bi-partisan. In my opinion, bi-partisanship is over-rated. It doesn’t offer much and here’s why, we as conservatives always lose when we reach out across the aisle.

The tempo increased, the intensity on the part of the media increased, and this mantra gets chanted on every single progressive talk show. MSNBC, all the usual suspects. All of the talking heads, the newspapers of record, the New York Time, The Washington Post, The Denver Post, with the headline of the day “Obama calls for civility”.

There is a reason they are doing it. It has nothing to do with lowering the political temperature in the room. No, it’s not that, but you have to think about, what is, actually happening in this country.

We are engaged in a war, it is a war of ideas. Ideas that are diametrically opposite ideas. Ideas about what kind of country we will be, and exactly who we are as a nation. We need to grapple with the idea of “Who are We” as Americans. We are losing track of what it means to be an American and what America is going to look like. It is a war, it is not a shooting war, but it is a war of ideas. The murder in Tucson has nothing to do with it.

It is because we are in this war of ideas, that, it is so dangerous. The outcome of this war, will determine what kind of America we will be, if we will be America, at all, as we knew it. An America that distinguishes itself by borders separating us from Canada and Mexico.  An America distinguished by a tradition that is called Western Civilization, based on Judeo-Christian principles.  A tradition that establishes rule of law, that as supreme, not rule of men. A tradition that focuses on individual liberties, recognizes and focuses on the idea that an individual is far more important than the collective.

If that vision, that I hold, of America, is the same vision you hold.  If you believe as I, it is the vision that was shared by our founding fathers, that was fought for in war after war after war, that so much blood has been spilled to preserve. Then you recognize why, the battle of ideas can become heated, that rhetoric can become hot.  There are really some important things at stake.  We are separated from the other side by a chasim.

50 years ago, but the last 100 years, we have had a progressive movement in this country.  It was held in check for some time.   And even as late as the 50′s and 60′s, most Republicans and Democrats had a similar idea of what America was all about and at least who our enemies were.   Scoop Jackson was a Democrat but couldn’t have been more of a hard liner.   In terms of anti-communist and strong military, and of course, that was a good thing, because the Democrats controlled congress for some 40 years.   But they had a strong sense of national defense.  They had a commitment to beat the communists, not just to survive but to win.   This is something that the vast majority shared. So, the fact is, we didn’t have rhetoric that was so inflamed.  There was a time when the rhetoric was not as heated as today, but things have changed.

Barack Obama said I intend to fundamentally transform America.   Think about those words.  I intend to fundamentally transform America.  Into what, I might ask?   He did not say I have a great desire to build a better America.   The familiar rhetoric of politicians.   No, his intention was, and is, to fundamentally transform America.  The America he sees is not my vision and I hope it is not yours.

He’s talked about it, about the Constitution, the document that needs his interpretation.  He’s talked about how America is not a Christian nation, and has gone to great lengths to try to show that this is true.   His idea of what America is about,  is not mine. I hope it is not yours.

I hope now you understand why the rhetoric gets to the point of being hot.  It’s important.  Everything is at stake.
