Barack Obama is indeed succeeding in his plans to “transform America,” but not in the way voters expected on Election Day in 2008. The number of the president’s actions that arguably qualify as impeachable offenses is staggering.

The question before the country is what to do about it.

True, Obama faces the voters in 14 months, and that will be seen by many as a reason to avoid the turmoil of an impeachment proceeding. But one process has nothing to do with the other. Elections proceed on an established calendar, but if he has committed acts that warrant removal by way of impeachment, that process should proceed independent of the election calendar. While impeachment must never be used to override an election victory, neither should the prospects of electoral defeat be used as an argument to avoid impeachment.

Obama has demonstrated contempt for the Constitution and is increasingly resorting to rule by decree. He is recognized by a growing number of Americans as a danger to the republic – certainly a danger to our liberties and also a serious threat to our national security.

It is time for the House of Representatives to take its constitutional responsibility seriously and launch an impeachment investigation. The investigative committee should hold hearings, collect and weigh the evidence, and then present its findings to the Congress and the nation.

Has Obama committed “high crimes and misdemeanors” that warrant impeachment and removal? There is much evidence that says, yes, he has.

TANCREDO KEEPS MOVEMENT GOING

Former Colorado Congressman launches new Talk Radio Show.

The Tom Tancredo Show launches Monday, January 3rd, at 10pm on Citadel’s AM 740

KVOR/Colorado Springs, CO (and on-line at http://kvor.com). Tom will bring the same passion he used in Congress for a decade to the airwaves nightly. “Tea Party Radio with Tom Tancredo” will translate to an audience that’s searching for answers.

Although immigration remains his signature issue, Tancredo is a solid fiscal and social conservative, with a lifetime 99% voting ratings from the American Conservative Union. Tancredo is particularly vocal on the dangers posed by radical Islam and what he calls the “Cult of Multiculturalism.”

The Tom Tancredo Show will feature nightly well-known guests and will cover state and national politics from the perspective of having been directly involved in the daily actions of our Federal Government.

“Tom made a lot of noise in the gubernatorial race in Colorado. He has a lot to say about matters of the state and his show fits like a glove with our award winning line up on KVOR.”

-Mike Knar/Market Manager Citadel

Tom Tancredo represented Colorado’s sixth congressional district in the United States House of Representatives from 1999 to 2009, as a Republican. He ran for President of the United States during the 2008 election, and was the Constitution Party’s nominee for Governor of Colorado in 2010.

Tom Tancredo, Humanitarian and Statesman

Please send the letter below, written by Kathleen Baker of Evergreen, Colorado to everyone you know.  This letter was written to someone who was not supporting Tom Tancredo, yet was unaware of all of Tom’s humanitarian efforts.  Thank you, Kathy, for taking the time to educate him.

We are getting down to the wire and need whatever support you can provide.  Whether or not you live in Colorado, please forward this to everyone you know.  Tom Tancredo being elected Governor of Colorado will help not only Colorado, but the entire nation.  One of the first things Tom plans on doing when elected Governor is to call NJ Governor Chris Christie and AZ Governor Jan Brewer.  Tom has pledged to lead a 10th Amendment Revolution and plans to tell the Federal Government to get out of our business and GO POUND SAND.   Click HERE to make a donation and/or learn more about Tom Tancredo.

Kathy Baker’s Letter

I heard you think Tom Tancredo is a racist. I doubt I’ll be able to change your mind, but I would like to inform you on his human rights work you may not know about. I have no desire to argue, just educate. I first “met” Rep. Tancredo nine years ago when he helped save the Beaver Brook Watershed (6,000 acres) of open space in Evergreen. He went out of his way to preserve this land even though it was not even in his district. It belonged to the City of Golden, which was in his district, and their goal was to develop the land. I then had no contact with him until last year. I will be voting for him.

The below email discusses his human rights work in Sudan, Iran, and Taiwan. At the end I will show that he polls (or did in September) ahead of Hickenlooper with Hispanics. Finally, I will show you an article with Tiffany Hartley (a friend of a friend) who witnessed her husband murdered by the drug cartel while they were jet-skiing on a lake on the U.S./Mexican border.  His body is still in the lake because our government won’t do anything about it, and when the Mexican government tried to investigate, the cartel beheaded the investigating officer. The Zeta cartel has been blamed for more than 29,000 deaths since December 2006. (The total military fatalities in Iraq since 2003 is 4745 as of this writing.) If you choose to stick your head in the sand about the violence in Mexico, go ahead but don’t call those who are upset about it racist.

First, please read about his work in Sudan:

From a website on 2008 presidential candidates:

“Rep. Tancredo (R-CO) has been a prominent voice in Congress for taking action to end the violence in Darfur. Tancredo, who co-chairs the House Sudan Caucus, cosponsored the Darfur Peace and Accountability Act of 2005.  He also co-sponsored a 2006 House resolution urging President Bush to appoint a special envoy to Sudan.  Shortly after that resolution passed, Bush appointed Special Envoy Andrew Natsios.”

Democracy Promotion in the Arab World

“Rep. Tancredo (R-CO) thinks that the United States should “implant democracies where there are now dictatorships” in the Middle East. In an interview with Right Wing News, Tancredo explained that democracies represent the only possible forum in which the U.S. can “encourage and create the spread of moderate Islam.” Tancredo cosponsored the ADVANCE Democracy Act of 2005 (H.R. 1133). He also voted in favor of the 2006 Iran Freedom Support Act. In 2005, Tancredo formed the Iran Human Rights and Democracy Caucus in the House with Rep. Bob Filner (D-CA) to discuss possible routes for U.S. policy toward Iran.”

U.S. Policy toward China

“Rep. Tancredo (R-CO) is a member of the Congressional Taiwan Caucus. In February 2007, Tancredo introduced a House resolution in support of resuming normal diplomatic relations with Taiwan. He voted for the Taiwan Security Enhancement Act in 2001. Tancredo cosponsored a 2006 House Resolution condemning religious persecution in China.

Did you know Congressman Tancredo has received the highest honor one can receive from the Taiwanese government?

Hispanic Polling (from September)

Tancredo: 42%, Hickenlooper 40%

Below are articles on David Hartley and Rob Krentz, both victims of the unchecked violence that is spilling over into our country. Congressman Tancredo will address this issue, not ignore it.

Tiffany Hartley’s story:

Rancher Rob Krentz and his dog killed on his own property

Thank you for your time,

Kathleen Baker

MAJOR PARTY STATUS, BENNETT LIES, and COUNTY BY-LAWS

Below is a copy of a most excellent memo from GOP Chair Dick Wadhams that was sent out yesterday.  If you have not read it, please do.  The only thing I take issue with is the failure to acknowledge that we all should take responsibility for failing to properly vet our candidates.  This is the responsibility of all of us, including the Party, in my opinion.  I am contemplating creating a course to teach all the tips, tricks, and tools for vetting candidates.  Just as important, is information contained in a copy of a blog below, written by former Douglas County GOP Chair, John Ransom on the GOP bylaws.

Some of you hold a duly elected position within your County GOP.  Unless you resign your position willingly, you must be voted out.  NOBODY can force you out or demand you resign your position!  If you are being intimidated, receiving threats or feel like you are being harassed, you should report that immediately to a trusted authority or media outlet.  You can do so anonymously.  Threats from leadership are an abuse of power and harassment is- as defined in CRS – a violation of Colorado law.  Remember, your vote is your sacred RIGHT, your free choice, and is your private business.

Following this is a copy of an actual letter written in response to some inappropriate GOP leadership behavior.  Such behavior is reprehensible in my opinion and needs to be exposed.  Kudos to Tory for his most articulate and appropriate response.  Anybody experiencing such abuse should act accordingly, knowing what you do now about GOP by-laws.

Finally, if you don’t know already, each county has their own set of by-laws.  Read yours and learn them.

Maes Endorses Tancredo – Almost.

Fantastic job, Don, at www.thebusinessword.com.  Note the perfectly written blog:   http://www.businessword.com/index.php/weblog/comments/4137

Please share with your users and groups across the country.  We, the new conservative base, Tea Party Patriots, and 912ers, need this posted on as many web pages, blogs, twitter feeds, and facebook pages as possible.  Also please link to www.tancredoforgovernor.org and request donations (there is a $525 max contribution per person).  Tom Tancredo needs some more $$ to keep his TV and Radio campaigns going; he is very close to his goal.  As Glenn Spencer has so beautifully put it on the American Patrol’s web site (http://www.americanpatrol.com/), “Colorado’s Choice:  La Raza or America”

Dan Maes has not exactly endorsed Tom Tancredo, YET, but I am getting this out there and I bet he will in the next day or two.  Yesterday, it was announced that Maes talked to Tancredo about dropping out; see http://www.completecolorado.com/ or http://tinyurl.com/2crmf7s for the original audio of a radio interview with Tom.  THE HEAT IS ON!

Tancredo Surges 20 Points in One Month

New Fox News Poll Shows Tancredo Leading Maes 34 to 15

GREENWOOD VILLAGE, CO–A Fox News poll released today shows that gubernatorial candidate Tom Tancredo has surged a remarkable twenty points in just one month. In less than a month Tancredo leap-frogged over the Republican Dan Maes and is now in striking distance of Democrat John Hickenlooper.

“John Hickenlooper can hear the footsteps behind him as rank-and-file GOPers and independents make the choice to back the ‘electable conservative,’” said Bay Buchanan, Tancredo’s campaign manager. “The incredible momentum behind the Tancredo campaign has turned this race for governor into a two-man race and it is time that Mayor Hickenlooper agreed to two-man debates. Dan Maes is all but irrelevant and the voters of Colorado have a right to have the two men who could be governor face off on the issues.” Read the rest of this entry »
